Rabbit without a House

Most birthday party games for kids include races. This one is not an exception. Guests have to be divided into groups of three, two making a house holding hands and one (a rabbit) standing inside. The person selected to be "the rabbit without a house" stands alone and yells out "find a house". All rabbits have to change houses, while "the rabbit without a house" tries to steal one for him/herself. The new rabbit left without a house has to make the same and try to get one back, and so on.

Lost Dog Game

Players stand in a ring facing inwards. The leader stands in the centre. She addresses one of the players, saying, "I've lost my dog." The player asks, "What is it like?"The leader describes any other person in the ring. When the questioner guesses the identity of the person described, the one described leaves her place and is followed round the circle by the questioner. Both race in the same direction, each returning to their places. The last to get back becomes the one to whom the leader will speak when the game begins again.
